Personal car leasing, explained in a minute
Personal contract hire (PCH) is the simplest way to drive a new car without owning it. You agree a term and an annual mileage, pay an initial rental and then a fixed monthly rental, and hand the car back at the end. Intelligent Vehicle Finance arranges it across a panel of more than 20 funders and one specialist looks after you from the first call to delivery.
What you get
A brand-new car on a fixed monthly rental, usually for two to four years, with road tax covered for the term and the option to add a maintenance package. There is no balloon payment and no option to buy: at the end you return the car.
What it costs, in plain terms
An initial rental at the start, then the fixed monthly rentals, all shown including VAT. The mileage is agreed up front, and miles beyond it are charged per mile at the end, so choose a realistic figure. Damage beyond fair wear and tear, judged against the BVRLA guideline, is also chargeable when the car goes back.
Who it suits
Drivers who want a new car with predictable monthly costs and no resale risk, and who can commit to the full term: ending an agreement early normally means a termination charge. If you would rather own the car at the end, ask us about personal contract purchase instead.
