Choose Long Range RWD for the distance-led brief, or AWD Performance for the separate drivetrain and performance requirement.
Plan charging with the matching generation: newer UK G6 cars use 68.5/80.8 kWh LFP batteries and quote as little as 12 minutes for 10–80% under optimal conditions, with 382/451 kW peak DC capability. Those figures need the appropriate charger, battery temperature and supplied wheels/equipment, and do not cover IVF’s older 66/88 kWh-labelled entries.

X9: seven-seat MPV space
Choose X9 when seven passenger places and MPV access are essential. XPENG’s current UK specification lists seven seats and a 5,316 mm length, 558 mm beyond G6. Measure the parking space and door clearance, then try the luggage with every required seat occupied.
Choose the battery and drivetrain after the passenger layout works. The UK page still presents X9 as coming soon, so the actual allocation and supplied specification remain to be resolved; G6 range, charging and warranty figures do not transfer to it.
Charging and software on your everyday journeys
Reliable stopping places should shape the XPENG charging plan, with the software demonstrated on the supplied version. Phone integration, navigation and parking controls are worth trying before equipment decisions.

Separate the company-car calculation from the household fit
Choose between G6 and X9 on the passenger job first, then compare personal company-car tax using the exact P11D and years covered. Both are electric, but the larger MPV answers a different household or business requirement.

For G6, the official UK warranty document dated June 2025 provides five years or 75,000 miles of vehicle cover and eight years or 100,000 miles for the battery, whichever comes first. Local servicing and optional maintenance are useful parts of comparing the full lease alongside those periods.
The supplied G6 generation must qualify under that policy, including its battery-capacity conditions and component exclusions; X9 needs its own UK documents. Ask IVF to identify the applicable cover and servicing route together, with tyres, connected-service charges and return obligations itemised separately.
XPENG company-car tax: use the exact vehicle

The illustrated bands are Zero-emission electric: 4% in 2026/27. Confirm P11D, certified CO2/range and transitional treatment with your accountant. Read the general company-car BiK rules. G6 and X9 are electric, so the same zero-emission percentage can apply; different batteries, grades and P11D values still change the personal tax calculation.

Which new G6 version has the longest published range?
For the newer UK G6 on the brochure’s 20-inch wheels, Long Range RWD is rated at 326 miles WLTP combined, versus 292 miles for Standard Range RWD and 316 miles for AWD Performance. These match IVF’s 185kW/68kWh, 218kW/80kWh and 358kW/80kWh generation, not the older 66kWh/88kWh entries. Match the supplied model year, battery, motors, grade, tyres and wheels; real range varies with conditions and use.
Can I apply a new G6 charging figure to every listing?
No. Match the battery, charging hardware, motor, UK model year, grade and wheels. New-generation claims do not establish the performance of an older listed car, and real charging conditions still matter.
Is the X9 the same type of car as G6?
The catalogue identifies G6 as an SUV and X9 as an MPV. For X9, confirm the fitted UK seats, access and luggage arrangement before deciding on the battery or drivetrain.
Does the G6 warranty automatically cover X9 on the same terms?
No. The official UK document used here is G6-specific. Obtain the applicable current UK X9 terms, including vehicle, battery, servicing and usage conditions.
Are future software features included in the lease?
Only confirmed supplied or contractually included features should inform the decision. Ask which functions and subscriptions are included and for how long. Do not assume an announced future update is already available.
Do G6 and X9 have the same personal company-car tax?
Both use zero-emission percentages when supplied as qualifying electric company cars, but personal tax also depends on the actual P11D and your circumstances. Different values can produce different tax amounts.
Is maintenance included in an XPENG lease?
Maintenance is optional: check that the quotation itemises servicing, tyres and exclusions for your chosen XPENG. Warranty cover for defects is separate from routine maintenance, insurance, energy and return charges.
