Your Skoda Enyaq leasing decision

Intelligent Vehicle Finance helps families, directors and business drivers compare Skoda Enyaq leasing across SUV and Coupé versions. The current UK range includes different batteries, drive layouts and equipment levels. Start with passengers and luggage, then match the supplied model year to its technical figures and your real charging routine.

Enyaq business and personal leasing for shared family space

The Enyaq is a useful starting point when your electric car must carry people and luggage regularly, rather than simply provide an individual commute. A director might combine client visits with family weekends, while a business driver may need enough cabin flexibility for colleagues and overnight bags. The right version depends on those ordinary loads and on the longest trips you repeat.

Skoda UK currently covers the SUV and Coupé together in its Enyaq brochure. Both belong in this decision, but their rooflines and luggage access should be assessed separately. Do not assume that choosing a battery and trim completes the brief before you have tried the body shape. The car that works with a rear passenger and a loaded boot is the one to compare.

If compact parking is the overriding requirement, Epiq or Elroq may be a more useful starting point. If a third row is essential, investigate a model that actually offers the seating arrangement you need. Enyaq is not made into a seven-seat vehicle by selecting a larger battery or a performance grade.

Skoda Enyaq leasing: key facts

  • Skoda’s current UK Enyaq brochure covers both the SUV and Coupé; these are five-seat electric cars.
  • The UK brochure effective 12 August 2026 lists 60 with 61/58 kWh gross/net capacity and SUV 85 with 84/79 kWh.
  • The same document lists 82/77 kWh for SportLine 85x and vRS, and the listed Coupé versions; match body, drive and model year rather than applying one battery figure to all.
  • The August brochure gives 373 miles WLTP for SUV SE L 85 and Edition 85. This is a matching-specification benchmark, not a claim for every IVF entry or real-world journey.
  • Skoda’s new-car warranty is two years without a mileage limit, followed by a third year up to 60,000 miles; electric-battery cover is separately eight years/100,000 miles, subject to terms.
  • GOV.UK: zero-emission company-car BiK is 4% in 2026/27, rising to 9% in 2029/30.

The Enyaq catalogue spans model years: identify the car first

IVF’s capture contains 110 rows, including SUV and Coupé, 60, 85, 85x and vRS descriptions, different battery labels and equipment packages. That is a catalogue of configurations and supply descriptions, not proof of 110 available vehicles. It includes older and newer technical labels, so the exact model year and factory specification must be agreed before comparing range or charging.

The UK brochure effective 12 August 2026 lists the 60 at 61 kWh gross and 58 kWh net. It lists the SUV 85 at 84 kWh gross and 79 kWh net, while the listed SportLine 85x, vRS and Coupé versions use 82 kWh gross and 77 kWh net in that document. A badge such as 85 is therefore not a battery capacity in kilowatt-hours.

The catalogue also contains 63 kWh and earlier 82 kWh descriptions. Keep them separate from current factory-order specifications. Ask IVF to state the car’s build/model year, body, motor layout, battery, wheels and option packages. This prevents a newer brochure benchmark being applied to a different vehicle simply because the model and grade names look similar.

SUV or Coupé, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive?

Compare SUV and Coupé with the rear passengers who normally travel with you. Check head room, entry and exit, then open the tailgate in the space available at home. Load the objects that decide your choice, whether that is a pushchair, sports kit or several overnight cases. A difference in roofline can matter even when a headline luggage figure looks close.

Next decide whether rear-wheel drive meets your use or whether an all-wheel-drive derivative answers a defined need. Explain rural access, winter conditions or any towing requirement to the team, and obtain the exact approved limits and equipment. All-wheel drive does not replace suitable tyres or create a universal ability to tow; the supplied vehicle’s documents decide those details.

SE L, Edition, SportLine and vRS also bring different equipment and performance emphases. Select wheels and comfort features for the roads and distances involved. If several household or company drivers share the Enyaq, test their seating positions and phone connections. A feature list should help you identify the appropriate car, rather than turn the exercise into selecting the longest list.

Plan Enyaq charging using the matching technical document

The August UK brochure gives 373 miles WLTP for the SUV SE L 85 and Edition 85. That benchmark belongs to the documented specifications and does not apply to every row on IVF’s route. Other Enyaq versions and earlier model years have their own figures. The current manufacturer web headline also differs, reinforcing the need to use the offered car’s technical sheet.

For real use, assess a loaded motorway trip in cold weather as well as the everyday commute. Decide how much reserve you want on arrival and where charging can happen while the car is parked. A home charger can support a routine only after installation, access and power arrangements are confirmed. Workplace access should be checked against the times you will actually need it.

Ask for charging capability and conditions for the exact battery version, without borrowing a minimum duration from another Enyaq. Confirm warranty mileage limits and the service schedule at the same time. High business mileage can exhaust time-and-distance cover before the lease ends, so compare maintenance and assistance by their actual terms rather than relying on the electric badge to imply low involvement.

Skoda Enyaq company-car tax across the lease

Every Enyaq discussed here is electric, so the zero-emission percentage path is shared. The personal tax amount still changes with the P11D value, options and relevant adjustments. Compare the selected SUV or Coupé across the tax years of the agreement, not just the first year of use.

For an employee or director with private use, the taxable benefit normally starts with the car’s P11D value multiplied by the applicable BiK percentage. Personal tax then depends on the individual’s income tax rate and any relevant adjustments. The percentage is not the tax rate applied to the lease rental. A sole trader’s own business car use follows different rules.

The agreement can cross several tax years. Compare the whole path, not just the percentage in the year the car arrives.

Tax information checked 28 September 2026 against the C1 ledger and its primary sources. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may change; consult your accountant.

Road tax and costs across the term

Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). For 2026/27, the standard annual VED payment after the first year is £200 before any supplement. First-year VED depends on CO2 and registration rules; zero-emission cars currently have a £10 first-year rate. These cash rates apply to 2026/27 only; later annual VED rates are not confirmed here. Ask how the funder treats tax increases during your agreement.

Expensive Car Supplement. The Expensive Car Supplement is currently £440 a year for five years from the second licence. The list-price threshold is more than £40,000 for petrol, diesel and hybrid cars, or more than £50,000 for qualifying zero-emission cars registered from 1 April 2025. Use the published list price before discounts, including relevant options, and check the registration date. Plug-in hybrids do not receive the electric-car threshold. GOV.UK explains VED and the supplement.

Planned eVED. The government plans Electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED) from April 2028, alongside VED: 3p per mile for electric cars and 1.5p per mile for plug-in hybrids. This is proposed for April 2028, subject to legislation and implementation; it is not a charge currently in force. The stated rates are planned starting rates, with CPI uprating proposed from 2029/30 and later cash rates not confirmed. An agreement spanning introduction needs the funder’s written treatment of the charge and later changes. Check the government’s consultation response and final implementation guidance before committing.

VAT and the business accounts

VAT-registered businesses can normally reclaim 50% of the VAT on qualifying car rentals where private use is available, depending on circumstances and the normal VAT rules. Full rental-VAT recovery requires exclusive business use with no private availability. Maintenance can fall outside the rental block when it is genuinely optional, separately described in the contract and separately quantified on the invoice; recovery remains subject to normal VAT rules. Read HMRC’s motoring VAT guidance.

Businesses using the VAT Flat Rate Scheme do not normally recover input VAT on recurring car hire. The separate capital-goods exception does not turn hire invoices into a vehicle purchase. Check HMRC’s Flat Rate Scheme guidance.

A zero-emission car is not subject to the CO2-based lease-rental restriction. Check HMRC’s car-hire deduction rules.

For accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026, revised FRS 102 generally requires a right-of-use asset and lease liability for lessees, including small companies using Section 1A. FRS 105 lease accounting for eligible micro-entities was not changed in the same way. Contract hire therefore does not universally keep a car off the balance sheet. Ask your accountant to apply the right framework; HMRC summarises the accounting standards.

Build the quotation around the way you will use it

Tell IVF your annual mileage, regular passengers, essential equipment, charging access where relevant and preferred timing. Ask for the precise model year, derivative, options and registration status to be written into the quotation. The catalogue is a starting point; the offered vehicle and funder terms need confirmation.

Business Contract Hire is taken by the business; Personal Contract Hire is taken by the private individual. Both are subject to status and individual funder criteria. Compare the initial rental, term, mileage, maintenance and applicable fees on the same basis. An initial rental is part of the hire cost, not refundable security or ownership equity.

A manufacturer warranty starts under the supplied car’s warranty terms, normally from first registration. Its time and mileage limits may finish before your lease does. It is separate from optional servicing and tyre cover. Confirm maintenance inclusions, insurance responsibilities, tax provisions and early-termination terms before signing.

At the end of contract hire, return the vehicle; there is no contractual purchase option. Excess mileage, damage beyond the funder’s fair wear and tear standard, missing equipment or other contractual charges may still be payable. Check the return process before choosing your agreement.

Skoda Enyaq leasing questions

Does this Enyaq page cover both SUV and Coupé?

Yes. Skoda’s current UK brochure covers both, and IVF’s catalogue contains SUV and Coupé entries. Compare rear-seat access, roofline and luggage handling on the exact body you want. Do not assume that a shared battery or grade makes their practical use identical.

Are 60 and 85 the Enyaq battery capacities?

They are version identifiers, not a complete capacity specification. The August 2026 UK brochure distinguishes gross and net battery energy and varies it by body and drive layout. Ask IVF for the exact model year and technical sheet rather than interpreting the badge as kilowatt-hours.

Why are there 61, 63, 82 and 84 kWh Enyaq rows?

The catalogue includes different model-year and derivative descriptions. The current UK brochure and older supplied cars can have different batteries or labels. Confirm body, motor, model year, wheels and equipment before attaching a current range or charging figure to a row.

Does Enyaq have seven seats?

The UK Enyaq is a five-seat electric model. If a third row is essential, investigate a different vehicle and confirm the selected derivative’s seating. Choosing an Enyaq vRS or a larger battery does not change that passenger-capacity requirement.

What range should I expect from Enyaq 85?

The August UK brochure quotes 373 miles WLTP for SUV SE L 85 and Edition 85. That is a matching-specification benchmark, not a real-world promise or a figure for every 85 entry. Confirm the offered car and allow for weather, speed, heating, wheels and load.

Is every Enyaq all-wheel drive?

No. The UK range includes rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The 85x and vRS descriptions identify different propositions from ordinary rear-wheel-drive versions. Confirm the exact car’s drivetrain and approved load or towing limits if those requirements influence your choice.

Is Enyaq suitable for business contract hire?

Discuss your mileage, passenger needs and charging access with IVF, subject to supply, status and funder criteria. Zero-emission company-car percentages rise across the lease, and the P11D value varies by specification. Compare business costs and personal tax as separate figures with your accountant.

Will every Enyaq pay the Expensive Car Supplement?

No blanket answer should be applied. Check the published list price with relevant options and the registration date. Qualifying zero-emission cars registered from 1 April 2025 use the threshold above £50,000. The lease rental or a discount does not determine that list-price test.

What warranty does Skoda provide for Enyaq?

Skoda’s UK new-car structure gives two unlimited-mileage years followed by a third year up to 60,000 miles, subject to conditions. The electric high-voltage battery has separate eight-year/100,000-mile cover. Check the supplied vehicle’s policy, service requirements and any relevant exclusions.

What should I ask IVF to specify in an Enyaq quote?

Ask for SUV or Coupé, model year, battery gross/net capacity, drivetrain, grade, wheels and essential packages. State annual mileage and charging arrangements. Confirm the maintenance basis, road-tax provisions, insurance responsibility and the vehicle-return terms before agreeing.
