Which KGM should you lease?

Choose passenger Rexton for seven seats and a substantial towing job, Torres for petrol, hybrid or EVX electric choices, and Tivoli or Korando for a smaller petrol SUV. Actyon adds another body comparison. Seats, trailer weight and charging access can settle the shortlist before grade.

More detail on the listed KGM models

Choose Tivoli for a smaller petrol SUV with the listed 1.5 K40 manual or automatic gearbox. Try access and luggage before moving to Torres or Rexton for a different load requirement.

Another petrol-SUV cabin to try alongside Tivoli is Korando. The 1.5 K35 manual and automatic entries let gearbox preference narrow the shortlist before equipment.

Torres EVX or Rexton: seats and trailer weight can settle the shortlist

Choose Torres EVX for a five-seat electric SUV with a substantial luggage compartment. KGM quotes 703 litres with the rear seats raised and 1,662 litres folded, plus up to 1,500 kg braked towing. The seats-up figure is the useful starting point for family travel.

Choose passenger Rexton if the job needs seven seats or a heavier trailer: its 3,500 kg published braked limit is 2,000 kg above EVX’s. These are limits for the matching UK passenger derivatives, with towbar approval, payload, noseweight and plated train limits governing the actual loaded combination.

Rexton: define the load and passenger classification

Seven-seat diesel-SUV use with selectable four-wheel drive is Rexton’s brief. IVF lists 2.2 diesel automatics in K30, K50 and K51 grades, making passenger layout and the required towing equipment more important first decisions than interior trim.

Plan the full running commitment around diesel fuel, insurance and maintenance as well as the agreement. Rexton Commercial is a separate classification, and a passenger Rexton’s company-car assessment needs its own emissions and diesel treatment.

Actyon: the K50 badge appears on different powertrains

Choose Actyon K50 HEV for a full-hybrid routine without plugging in, or compare the listed K50 petrol on the same equipment and contract assumptions. The shared K50 badge identifies a grade, while the engine field identifies the different powertrain.

Choose Actyon for its own cabin and load shape. If seven seats or Rexton-level towing are essential, keep the enquiry with the car specified for that job rather than expecting a higher Actyon grade to supply it.

Tivoli and Korando: keep the smaller SUV in the comparison

Smaller petrol-SUV needs make Tivoli and Korando the useful starting pair. Both have manual and automatic listings, so gearbox preference can narrow the comparison before you choose equipment.

Include the local workshop and the model’s applicable cover in the discussion. IVF’s electric car leasing hub gives Torres EVX another body comparison if electric use is fixed but its size is not.

What IVF adds to your KGM shortlist

Ask IVF to keep Torres petrol, HEV and EVX distinct, and to quote passenger Rexton when seats and towing are the point. We can compare the actual loaded-vehicle requirement with the relevant approval, rather than transferring a Rexton headline to another KGM or a commercial conversion.

Warranty, maintenance and the full lease term

KGM’s UK material states five years or 100,000 miles for relevant combustion and hybrid models such as Tivoli and Torres Hybrid, subject to terms. Torres EVX has separate UK cover: seven years or 90,000 miles for the vehicle in the applicable EVX material. Confirm the supplied model’s registration and policy.

The UK Torres EVX documentation separately states ten years or 1,000,000 kilometres for the high-voltage battery, whichever comes first, with capacity and eligibility conditions. That kilometre figure is the published battery limit, not a driving range or ten-year warranty for the whole car.

Do not transfer passenger, EVX, commercial or pick-up terms between vehicles. Scheduled servicing, tyres and return condition are separate; obtain the optional maintenance scope and any use-based warranty limits in writing.

KGM company-car tax: use the exact vehicle

These exact Torres electric and Actyon full-hybrid entries illustrate different tax bases. Rexton diesel needs a separate certified assessment, and commercial classifications are outside these passenger-car examples.

Personal-tax illustrations: a full year, 40% income tax and no employee contributions or other adjustments, using IVF’s 10 September 2026 KGM entries. Neither lease rentals, employer costs nor equivalent-car savings.

Read the general company-car BiK rules. Torres EVX is electric; petrol Torres and Actyon, their HEV versions, Tivoli, Korando and diesel Rexton follow emissions-based assessments, with passenger classification checked separately.

From KGM shortlist to handover

  1. Give IVF the loaded trailer, passenger count and luggage requirement before choosing a KGM SUV.
  2. Compare initial and monthly rentals, term, mileage, optional maintenance, fees and early-termination conditions on the same basis.
  3. Identify Torres petrol, HEV or EVX, or the passenger Rexton specification, in the vehicle supply confirmation.
  4. Agree return standards and charges for excess mileage, damage beyond fair wear and tear or missing equipment, with insurance and fuel or electricity budgeted separately.

Compare the actual KGM requirement

For an electric SUV, compare Torres EVX with Skoda Enyaq on the cabin, battery generation and charging routine.

For a full-hybrid SUV, compare Actyon or Torres Hybrid with GWM Haval Jolion Pro. Confirm the actual equipment and emissions before comparing agreements.

KGM leasing questions

Settle the practical details before choosing your car and contract.

Are all Torres models electric?

No. The Torres route includes petrol, HEV full-hybrid and electric entries. Torres EVX is the electric model. Identify the actual powertrain before comparing charging, tax and warranty.

Does every Torres have all-wheel drive?

Do not assume so. An AWD petrol entry appears amongst other derivatives. Obtain the exact driven-wheel specification and approved limits if traction or towing is part of the requirement.

Is Actyon K50 always the same powertrain?

No. The Actyon catalogue has petrol and HEV full-hybrid entries with K50 grade descriptions. Confirm the powertrain as well as the equipment name.

Can I apply Rexton passenger-car tax to Rexton Commercial?

No. Commercial classification and actual use can change the tax and warranty treatment. This page’s examples concern passenger cars; obtain a separate assessment for a commercial vehicle.

Can I use Rexton’s towing figure for a Torres EVX?

No. KGM’s UK EVX K30/K40 specification gives a 1,500kg braked towing limit and five seats; the passenger Rexton benchmark is 3,500kg and seven seats. Match the actual supplied derivative and classification, then check towbar approval, noseweight, payload and vehicle/train-weight limits. A shared KGM badge does not establish the same capability.

Is Torres EVX’s battery warranty also the whole-car warranty?

No. Its UK material separately states seven years or 90,000 miles for the vehicle and ten years or 1,000,000 kilometres for the high-voltage battery, subject to the applicable terms. Confirm the supplied car’s policy.

Can I choose a manual KGM?

The Tivoli and Korando petrol routes include manual entries alongside automatics. Ask IVF to confirm the exact model, equipment and supply position.

Is maintenance included in a KGM lease?

Maintenance is optional: check that the quotation itemises servicing, tyres and exclusions for your chosen KGM. Warranty cover for defects is separate from routine maintenance, insurance, energy and return charges.

What should I confirm before ordering?

Identify Torres petrol, HEV or EVX, or the passenger Rexton specification, in the vehicle supply confirmation. Compare the full hire commitment, including early termination and end-of-contract charges.
