Which Maxus should you lease?

Choose MIFA 7 for seven-seat electric passenger use in the shorter MPV body, or MIFA 9 when its larger layout is useful. If eight places are essential, start with the explicitly listed MIFA 9 Elite or Luxury eight-seat versions. Carry people and their luggage in the same brief.

MIFA 7: seven seats with two battery labels

Choose MIFA 7 when seven seats are enough and parking length matters. The current UK-linked brochure gives it a 4,907 mm body and a 2-2-3 layout, compared with 5,270 mm for MIFA 9. That saves 363 mm of length before you compare equipment.

The regular route should decide MIFA 7 battery choice: Elite and Luxury are labelled 77 kWh, Premium 90 kWh. The brochure gives about 280 litres behind the raised third row and 760 litres folded; its WLTP figures apply only to the matching 180 kW UK grades and 18-inch wheels, with real range affected by passengers, weather and speed.

Listed versionWLTP combined rangePassenger layout
Elite / Luxury 77kWh254 miles2-2-3 seven seats
Premium 90kWh298 miles2-2-3 seven seats

MIFA 9: seven and eight seats are different specifications

Choose MIFA 9 when its larger body or an explicitly specified eighth seat solves the passenger job. IVF lists seven- and eight-seat Elite and Luxury versions, while Premium is seven-seat. At 5,270 mm long, the current UK model needs another 363 mm of parking length compared with MIFA 7.

Choose the layout before adding comfort equipment. The 90 kWh catalogue label does not settle seat count, range or charging time; use the offered UK configuration and the luggage space behind occupied seats.

Plan charging with the real passenger load

Plan MIFA charging around where the vehicle spends time parked and how its passengers use a longer stop. A dependable home, workplace or depot arrangement can be more useful than selecting a larger battery for a journey you rarely make.

Compare an electric SUV through IVF’s electric car leasing hub only with the same seats occupied and luggage aboard. Any charging duration needs the supplied battery and charger conditions, including starting charge and temperature.

Keep MIFA passenger terms separate from the van range

Choose MIFA on its passenger-vehicle terms, especially when the car will carry people for a business. Describe the intended use and any accessibility requirement early so that insurance, support and a suitable agreement can be assessed together.

Keep the MIFA warranty and tax assessment tied to that passenger model. MAXUS van terms and commercial-vehicle assumptions are not a substitute, and a conversion needs its own approval.

What IVF adds to your Maxus shortlist

Ask IVF to hold the MIFA seat layout constant while comparing the battery and agreement. MIFA 9 Elite or Luxury may have seven or eight seats, while MIFA 7 Premium changes the battery from the lower grades; we can keep both differences visible alongside your actual passenger use.

Warranty, maintenance and the full lease term

The current brochures linked from MAXUS’s UK MIFA 7 and MIFA 9 pages state five years or 62,000 miles for the vehicle, and eight years or 125,000 miles for the battery, whichever limit is reached first.

Confirm the policy supplied with the actual vehicle, its warranty start date, intended-use eligibility, component exclusions and battery conditions. Scheduled servicing and wear items are not covered merely because the manufacturer provides a warranty.

For a four-year high-mileage agreement, compare the expected end mileage with the vehicle warranty limit. Optional maintenance and roadside assistance should be identified separately, alongside insurance and lease-return obligations.

Maxus company-car tax: use the exact vehicle

Maxus leasing questions

Settle the practical details before choosing your car and contract.

How many seats does MIFA 7 have in these listings?

The MIFA 7 entries explicitly specify seven seats. Confirm the actual UK layout, adjustment and equipment, and assess luggage with the seats occupied.

Can MIFA 9 have eight seats?

Yes. The Elite and Luxury entries include eight-seat versions as well as seven-seat versions. The Premium entry is seven-seat. The quotation must identify the exact configuration.

Do all MIFA 7 versions have the same battery?

No. Elite and Luxury entries carry 77kWh labels, while Premium carries 90kWh. Match range and charging information to the actual supplied UK derivative.

Are the MIFA cars electric?

All MIFA 7 and MIFA 9 entries here are battery-electric. Their charging and tax assessment should not inherit the specification of a different Maxus vehicle or powertrain.

Can I use a Maxus van warranty for MIFA?

No. Passenger-car, commercial and special-use terms can differ. Obtain the exact current UK MIFA policy and confirm vehicle, battery, mileage and use eligibility.

What warranty do the current UK MIFA brochures state?

The current UK-linked MIFA 7 and MIFA 9 brochures state five years or 62,000 miles for the vehicle and eight years or 125,000 miles for the battery. The supplied vehicle’s policy, registration date, intended use and component conditions still determine the actual cover.

What should a passenger-MPV enquiry include?

Give IVF the passenger count, actual luggage, regular routes, charging location and intended use. Confirm access, seat layout and parking space before choosing battery or equipment grade.

Is maintenance included in a Maxus lease?

Maintenance is optional: check that the quotation itemises servicing, tyres and exclusions for your chosen Maxus. Warranty cover for defects is separate from routine maintenance, insurance, energy and return charges.

What should I confirm before ordering?

Confirm the MIFA battery, trim and seven- or eight-seat layout, including the applicable passenger-car warranty. Compare the full hire commitment, including early termination and end-of-contract charges.
